Are you worried about your kids learning about money? Kids start learning how to count money in the second grade and they have always known how to spend money! The kids and I have discovered a fabulous software that teaches kids about money.
It is educational and entertaining to kids. It is easy to use and parents/kids can both be involved. Go to www.ParentWare.org and make this discovery yourself. It is for kids ages 6-16 and is endorsed by the American Bank Association Education Foundation. I know some of our kids have put this software on their Christmas Wish list this year. I personally have talked to my financial consultant at my local bank about the software and he was aware of the software and hightly recommends it. Check it out!
You can also check with your local Junior Chamber of Commerce - I understand they usually provide classes for kids and managing their money. Money so often messes up people's marriages and their personal/professional lives because they were not taught as kids how to manage their money in a responsible way. Help your kids out in their early ages and teach them to appreciate good management of money throughout their lives.
